in Saitama prefecture, Japan.
My JOSANIN is near to Sakura House Tsuruse and Asakadai.
Japanese traditional maternity center doesn’t do any medical treatment such as giving shots,
using knives etc.
They follow traditional old style of childbirth.
But in case of emergency, they have contact and access to medical hospitals.
So I had to go for check up sometimes in usual hospital too before due date.
I had small contraction one day before giving a birth.
When I reached to the JOSANIN next morning, I was having a bigger contraction.
My midwife said, GO FOR VERY FAST WALKING FOR TEN MINS WITH BIG STEPS.
So I did with midwife trainees.
Sometimes I stopped when I felt contraction.
I did for 2 sets of walking exercise.
After about one hour, I started to have a BIG BIG contraction,
my midwife said GO UP TO SECOND FLOOR AND COME BACK QUICKLY! DO THAT FOR 4 TIMES!!
I thought she was joking.
Anyway, I tried and forced so hard myself to do that.
My husband was so worried…
After 4th times of going up stairs, I rushed to the labor room.
My husband was holding my hand all the time.
Because of those exercises, it took only 5 mins to deliver.
It was hard but exercises made delivery easier.
It was amazing!!
I was crying with happiness.
My husband and midwife trainees were also crying.
it was one of greatest days in my life.
