Hello! My name is Alexandra. I’m from Russia and was born in Moscow. I’m a new employee at Sakura House in the customer relations department. I came to Japan in 2013. I was studying in a language school for two years and worked on a part-time job as a bartender. After graduation language school, I got a job as an administrator at the hotel. It was my first experience in a Japanese company. And there I learned a lot. I learned the principles of the Japanese service industry too. After working at the hotel for more than two years, I changed jobs and starting to work in a Russian trading company. At that time I wanted to try myself in another specialization of work. I wanted to understand what I need and what really want to do. It was a great experiment.
And maybe because of this work I realized that I should return to a service job. So I came to Sakura House. I think I’m a creative person and in Sakura House I want to fully discover and develop my abilities. I want to meet people from different countries, communicate in different languages: Russian, English, and Japanese. And this is not the language limit. I also want more people to come in Japan and enjoy this mysterious country. In fact, this is my third time in Japan, the two previous times I was there as a tourist in 2009 and in 2010. And one more thing, in 2010 I was a resident in Sakura House. And at that time I could not imagine that I would ever work here!
Why exactly Japan?Japan has this magical atmosphere feeling which attracts me. For first time I was fond of Japanese rock and anime, but after I starting to learn culture of Japan. Then I decided: if I want to learn more about Japan, it is necessary to visit here! I fell in love with this country in this architecture, nature and culture which is completely different with Russian and of course I got a lot of experience living here.
And now I’ll tell you what I like to do and my hobby. I love sports very much. For 13 years I was engaged in swimming and one year of water polo. I really like swimming, running, so sometimes I go to the pool and the gym. In my free time I walk and go somewhere outside of Tokyo. Also one of my hobbies is cooking. I can cook a tasty dish from what’s in the fridge! I draw, read, watch TV shows and documentary films.
Well, there was a little story about myself. I hope you were interested and I hope to meet you in the office soon! Ganbarimasu !!!
