Sakura Hostel Asakusa, is located in the historical part of Tokyo and a number one tourist destination for all many foreign travelers.
That fact that is located in the main tourist area, it is a common thing to find over priced foods and find it quite expensive to eat out.
Sakura Hotel Asakusa is blessed with a FREE shared kitchen that is fully equipped with kitchen cutlery and appliances that will enable you to make your own food and cut down on eating costs while you a travelling Japan.
This kitchen area is located on the first floor and is actually and open kitchen. Meaning that, it is accessible by all and actually located right next to the lounge. This actually helps you to naturally interact with travelers as your self and provide you with an opportunity to share your food culture with other guests.
On 4th of December, we hosted a “Cooking Competition Event”. We had participants from United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Korea and Japan. With such talented cookers, participants had the chance to taste amazing meals such Avocado Salad, Sweet Beans, Spicy vegetable Korean Soup and noodle and Yakisoba. This was such a unique event that it caught the eyes of a Japanese TV crew called TV ASAHI.
