One of my favorit Sashimi is “Kohada” （こはだ） “Kohada” is young herring This is “Kohada-su” (こはだ酢） marinated young herring, Herring (“Nishin” 鰊) changes the name by the fish grow in Japanese, its been said the symbol of the success. start from Baby “Shinko” (新子）, and Kid “Kohada” （子肌）, and Adult “Konoshiro” （このしろ）. Unfortunately I don’t have picture of “Shinko” but when you compare the size, you’ll see the deference. How interesting Japanese language and people are greedy for just one kind of fish!
The oasis or heaven of Japanese business man, Shimbashi. You can see and hear nightly discussion, complains, the real voice of Salaryman (business man) at Izakaya bar in Shimbashi area. They’ll healed and charge the energy for the next day at Shimbashi. The landlady of Sakura House Shimbashi told me there will be a big festival of Shimbashi Karasumori Jinja Shrine in May. The building of Shrine is small but the Mikohsi (portable Shrine) is huuuge! Our residents from Shimbashi house will be join the festival this year! Since most of the Matsuri Festival got canceled last year due to the earthquake in Tohoku, many of the shrine will hold […]
