The Harajuku A Guesthouse is one of the most popular living places at Sakura House.
You will be able to meet various people who live in the nearby guesthouses and have parties with your housemates. On the way from the JR Harajuku station to the guesthouse, you will go through the Takeshita Street, which is a perfect place for shopping. If you leave the JR station via the Omote-sando exit, you can visit the grand, majestic Meiji Shrine. In addition, the Yoyogi Park, a famous symbol of Harajuku, is just around the corner. Inside the park, visitors can see a variety of animation and comic fans dressed up as their favourite characters. Spending the weekend relaxing in the park is really a good idea.

Besides, if you go further away from the Meji-dori and head into Ura-Harajuku, you could experience a very special atmosphere as the shops are no different from ordinary residence. Furthermore, the famous Design Festa Galleries East and West are situated there, where young and upcoming artists could exhibit their original work of art. Admission is free and you could even meet the artists in person. And if you are looking for a place to try the traditional Japanese Pizza 'Okonomi-yaki' and 'Monja-yaki', then the 'Sakura-Tei' is the place to go.
