Tips
Higashi Ikebukuro B is one of the newest Sakura premises and is a very special guesthouse because a Inari Jinjya Shine is right next to the guesthouse. To go inside you first have to pass through a series of traditional Japanese Torii gates, providing you with peace of mind as you walk along before you reach home. It is just the kind of calmness you need after a busy day so that you could fully unwind in your room. If you would like to understand more about Japanese customs and cultures, then the Tatami rooms are really the ideal choice.
Besides enjoying all the traditional Japanese culture offered by Higashi Ikebukuro B, you could also benefit from the convenience of the vast railway network. From your door you could easily gain access to 6 different train stations, which it is very convenient to go to everywhere else. Higashi Ikebukuro B is truely the perfect balance that is hard to find in central Tokyo.

What is the Inari shrine...
Inari shrines originated as a place to enshrine Ukanomitama-kami, a god who watches over vital foodstuffs (specifically rice fields) but nowadays the significance of Inari shrines has been extended to agriculture, construction, fishing, business or educational prosperity and recovery from diseases. Though Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto is said to be the birthplace of Inari shrines, there are now more than 35,000 across Japan.
If you visit through the torii gates of the Inari shrine, you can pray for prosperity.
