Kichijoji is one of the most popular residential / commercial area in Tokyo, both for trend conscious youngsters and mature adults. There are tons of coffee shops, restaurants, night spots, party places, and cutting edge shops. You do not have to be bothered by thinking how you would kill your time for weekend any more. There is so much stuff to do!!!!!
You prefer tranquil and calm area as opposed to these so called "The center of city"!? Don't worry. We have beautiful and relaxing "Inokashira park", just 5 minutes away from the station. The park is famous for cherry blossoms, and in the blooming season, people from all over Japan come and visit the park.
From Sakura House Kichijoji, everything is pretty much within the walking distance. What I like the best of the house is its homey atmosphere. Unlike other large scaled guest houses, you would feel more private and closer to your house mates.
