Tips
Shiki is in Saitama prefecture however still easy access to Ikebukuro (26mins by train).
There are a lot places to eat around Shiki station and a big supermarket called SATY which opens till 11 PM everyday. If you are keen on sports, there are a sport club and bowling place on the way to your apartment.
What's more, there is a beautiful park 20mins by bus from Shiki station, where 100 cherry blossoms blooming in spring, people are picknicking underneath.
If weather is good, why don't you go for cycling?
