Futako-Tamagawa is an area surrounding Futako-Tamagawa station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi and Oimachi lines in Tokyo, Japan.
This area has both of beautiful nature and modern city life.
The main attraction of Futako-Tamagawa would be Tamagawa Takashimaya SC where is visible from the platform of Futako-Tamagawa station.
The east side of Futako-Tamagwa is currently under redevelopment and it has already changed the area to the modern city area with 3 districts. The first one is the area around Futako -Tamagawa station building. The second one is high-rise buildings and hotels area. Third one is high rise residential buildings area.
Futako-Tamagawa is often called by the local people as "Futako" or "Nikotama".
