Pretty convenient place for getting to Ikebukuro as well as a direct line to Shibuya and Shinjuku 3-chome. The Musashino line also runs through here to get to Chiba or a bit west of Tokyo. The upstairs people are Japanese and the next door neighbors are other Sakura House tenants. I stayed for four months while I found and got adjusted to my new job and it worked fine. There isn't a heck of a lot to do in this town but there are a number of restaurants, karaoke, 100 yen shops, etc. Plus, if you want to go out, why not just go to Tokyo? The sun bakes the place during the day and it's freezing during the colder seasons but if it's only for a short stay, it's not such a problem.
