This week in Sakura House (2nd week of September)
As hot days continue in Tokyo, this last week we happily welcomed exchange students, nomad workers, Japanese language students and long term tourists and groups from overseas at our Shinjuku Lounge office for their check-in, a nice cup of tea and a good chat.
For the upcoming stays in autumn and winter, we continue to work hard in providing a quick update on the latest stay deals and information so that anyone can easily find their place to stay in Tokyo or Kyoto, Japan.

Many of our residents often ask if they can receive deliveries while staying with us… short answer – yes you can !!
All of our properties have a registered addresses that you can use for receiving mail, enrolling in the health care system (for long term stay travelers) and most importantly, online shopping !!!
Here’s an example! One of our residents missed her delivery and put in a request for redelivery… lo and behold, it was delivered the same day!
The extent of Japan’s convenience will never cease to amaze.

What’s going on in Kyoto?
Down in the Kansai area, where our Kyoto Machiya style houses are located, we have had the pleasure of welcoming some of our Tokyo residents as they continue to travel and discover the different conveniences and fun of each city.
One of our residents has also used his share house room as base to travel around the Kansai area by bike. What a great idea!
As warm days continue, the conditions are perfect for many trees and plants to grow. So our Kyoto staff has been pruning some of the trees to allow for more light and the cool breeze easily into the houses.
